• The Inevitability of "Gendercide" and its Other Deadly Effects - John Piper writes "163,000,000 unborn baby girls have been killed in Asia over the last three decades. That’s more than the entire female population of the United States."
    
• Don't Complicate the "Missionary Call" - Another great article at the Desiring God blog.  It begins "I was never called to be a missionary, nor was I drafted. I volunteered. No special call was needed. I chose to go; I wanted to go; I was compelled to go."

• Tim Challies recently three-part series on his blog entitled The Weaker, The Stronger, The Homeschooler.  He shares some wise counsel.

• Desiring God has recently posted two excellent articles on their blog written by Rachel Jankovic.  Both articles dealt with the topic of Motherhood.

• Seeds Family Worship - There is much to like about the CDs put out by Seeds Family Worship.  They have recently released their sixth album Seeds of Character.  All of their songs are taken straight from Scripture.  You kids will love these songs!
     
• Tempted and Tried - This new book by Russell Moore looks great.  Here's a trailer on the book.  He's the same author who wrote Adopted for Life.  We did a series of blog posts on this book a while ago.

•  Last month I linked to The Journal for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood and since then I have slowly been reading my way through it.  One article that was particularly interesting to me was entitled "Husbands, Love Your Wives..." A Practical Suggestion and Tool for Husbands to Use in Leading their Marriages for the Glory of God.
• The latest 9marks eJournal is now available.  It is entitled "Book Reviews on the Mission of the Church" and as you might expect the entire issue is filled with book reviews.  Check it out online or view the entire issue as a pdf.

Here are this month's 'headlines' - things from cyberspace that have recently caught our attention.  Enjoy!

•  9marks eJournal - The latest eJournal from 9marks is now available.  The topic of this issue is Hell:  Remembering the Awful Reality.  You can read the journal online at their website or you can download the entire journal as a pdf.
     
• Trey Totman recently turned 5 - It looks like he had a great birthday party!
     
• Does Using Apple Products Make You a Better Christian - Here's a humorous article on the never-ending debate between Mac and PC  (via Tim Challies)
     
• The Journal for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood ~ Here's another journal to satisfy your reading appetites.  It appears that this one is published twice annually.  The current issue is the Spring 2010 issue.  I just printed it out last week and am looking forward to reading it.  Like many other Journals, you can read in online at their website or you can download the entire journal as a pdf file.
    
• Here's a video created using a clip from a John Piper sermon.  There are lots of these floating around.  Maybe you've already seen this one.  Even so, it's still worth watching again.

• Voice of the Martyrs ~  A global perspective on the persecution of God's children - Sign up online to receive their free monthly newsletter.  I highly recommend it.
• Grace to You ~ Here you can find sermons and other resources from the ministry of John MacArthur.  Sign up online to join their mailing list.  Once a month they send out a letter and offer a free resource.  Last month they gave away a FREE ESV MacArthur Study Bible to their entire mailing list.  (I am anxiously awaiting mine!)  Usually, the free giveaway is a CD of one of Dr. MacArthur's sermons.  But, once or twice a year, they offer a free book.  I would highly recommend joining this mailing list.
• Don't Waste Your Life Sentence ~ Here's a new movie/documentary from Desiring God that I really want to see.  Anyone want to buy me an early Christmas (or late birthday) present? Watch the trailer below.
