On Saturday, February 13, Six piano students from the Fine Arts Academy participated in Junior Festival. Junior Festival is an annual event organized by the National Federation of Music Clubs and sponsored locally by the Florida Federation of Music Clubs. This year's local Junior Festival was held at Cypress Ridge Presbyterian Church. Across the country, more than 117,000 students participate in a Junior Festival each year.
Each piano student was required to perform two pieces from memory. They were adjudicated by two judges who assessed their performance and assigned a rating of Superior, Excellent, Satisfactory, or Needs Improvement.
All six students who participated received a Superior rating!
Students who participated were Stephen Allen, Aaron Gaull, Courtney Love, Raquel Love, Neil Owen, and Logan Watkins. If you see any of these students, congratulate them for their hard work!
