Busy (by Stephen Simpson)

Have you ever felt busy? Personally, last week was one of the busiest I've had in a long time. I look back and wonder how I got through it. It's funny how life is. Some weeks are a breeze with lots of time to spare. Other weeks it seems like I'm rushing from one thing to the next all week long.

As I was in the middle of it last week, I was reminded of 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Additionally, one night during our family devotions we read Galatians 6:9 "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." I definitely felt weary last week .

Last week was tough, but, God is good. He did not give me more than I was able to bear. He did not test me too much. He gave me strength in spite of my weariness. He gave grace.
